Location

Welcome to Riverwood Square, a beautiful new development of 3 & 4 bedroom homes in the leafy surroundings of Castleknock, Dublin 15. These luxurious homes are built to the highest standard, offering an exceptional standard of living in a convenient and well-serviced location.

Neighbourhood

Unusually for a neighbourhood so close to Dublin City Centre, Riverwood Square is surrounded by beautiful green space. This is thanks largely to the nearby Phoenix Park, one of the largest enclosed parks within a capital city in Europe. The Phoenix Park is a hive of activity every day, offering wonderful trails for walking and jogging, Dublin Zoo, two playgrounds, a café and plenty more to see and discover.

Sports

For the sports enthusiast, you can try jogging in the nearby Porterstown Park, where weekly park-runs take place. Plenty of well-established clubs are available close by, including Castleknock and St. Brigids GAA clubs, Castleknock Celtic & St Mochtas Football Club and Coolmine Rugby Club. Why not try something a little different too, such as rowing on the River Liffey? There are lots of excellent golf clubs in the area as well, including Castleknock Golf Club and Luttrellstown Castle Resort.

Dining Out

For foodies, Riverwood Square couldn’t be better placed. Castleknock is a treasure trove of excellent eateries, ranging from Italian favourites at Castello Bruno to classic bistro dishes at the 12th Lock to incredible Pakistani and Indian food at Okra Green. Even the local bars offer food at a standard well above that of traditional pub grub; try the Carpenter Pub or Wright’s Anglers Rest for truly great food in a relaxed setting.

For a great day out, head to the regular Farmers Market at Farmleigh; enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the park while sampling the delicious food from the many stalls dotted around the farmyard.

Community

Castleknock is popular with families, thanks to its close community spirit, excellent amenities and second-to-none schools. Students of all ages have an abundance of schools from which to choose – and with public transport to Dublin and beyond so accessible, nothing is really out of reach.

Travel

Riverwood Square is ideal for anyone who needs to travel. The M50 is just a few minutes away, which leads on to many of Ireland’s major motorways. Head northbound for a few junctions and you’ll join the M1, the main road linking Northern Ireland with the Republic. Dublin Airport is only one junction away from the M50/M1 interchange, making that holiday dash for the airport easy, inexpensive and stress-free.

Castleknock is also well serviced by public transport options, including regular buses to Dublin City Centre. Coolmine Train Station, just a 10 minute walk from Riverwood Square, is also a popular choice for commuters with regular services to Connolly Station in the city centre.
